Celebrity Cruises has announced the first-ever trade loyalty program in North America for the cruise industry, called Celebrity Rewards. Through the incentive program, the company is inviting more than 85,000 eligible travel agents, in the U.S. and Canada, to receive rewards for every qualified bookings.
Travel agents who enroll in the program and register their Celebrity bookings can earn points and redeem the points for a reloadable gift card. For every qualified booking made on or after January 1, 2017, agents will receive 500 points, when travel agents have 2,500 points, they can redeem them for $25 placed on the reloadable gift card. Those that enroll in Celebrity Rewards today will receive a kick-off bonus incentive of 500 points.

In time for the 2017 "wave season," Crystal Cruises has added more itineraries to its Crystal Clear Choices promotion, running through March 31, 2017.
Due to the growing popularity of the promotion, Crystal has added more than a dozen 2018 sailings to the roster of voyages included. Beginning in March 2018, Lindblad Expeditions' National Geographic Orion will sail a variety of one- and two-week itineraries to the South Pacific and French Polynesia, with stops in Fiji, the Cook Islands, Easter Island and more.

Emerald Waterways is kicking off 2017 with the launch of three new ships, which will almost double the size of the line's fleet and allow it to expand its river cruise offerings in Europe to include France and Portugal.
