Hurtigruten has announced pricing specials on its Spring and Summer line-up of Exploration Cruises - cruises designed to take in some of the world's most remote destinations. Australia's Scenic Tours has sold out its summer season of river cruising, and though it still has some availability for fall has opened bookings for 2011. The company has added a new ship to its fleet of four. The Scenic Pearl will debut in the Spring of 2011 bringing with it additional capacity to meet demands as well as new itineraries and cruise lengths appealing to the North American audience. Guests booking in advance will have access to Scenic's EarlyBird Offers such as Fly Free To Europe. A deposit of $250 per person holds a booking, though it is fully refundable should the client not wish to travel once the brochure is released towards the end of April. Voyages to Antiquity has announced a series of inaugural season booking incentives to celebrate the launch of the company's first year of operation. The first cruise on Aegean Odyssey departs from Athens on May 4. Voyages to Antiquity fares include shore excursions, shipboard gratuities, and wine, beer and soft drinks at dinner. Cruise fares include free air from select East Coast gateways, with add-ons of $99 or $199 from over 70 North American gateways. The new inaugural season booking incentives include no supplement for single occupancy on virtually all sailings, except in categories A, B and E; $1,000 savings per stateroom on cruises departing May 31, June 28, July 26 and Aug. 9; and $500 savings per stateroom on May 3, May 17, June 14, July 12 and Aug. 23 departures. Hurtigruten is offering a 20 percent savings special on more than 50 Norwegian coastal voyage departures between May 1 and Sept. 14. The special fares range from $1,306 to $9,297 per person, double, on the six-, seven- and 12-day voyages, if booked by May 31. The Norwegian coastal voyage takes in Norway's fjord-filled, 1,250-mile west coast between the Hanseatic port of Bergen and Kirkenes, close to the Russian border.
