Holland America Line is doubling the Group Advantage Program (GAP) points for all 2010 groups when booked by Aug. 31 through Polar Online.
GAP points permit agents to customize groups with amenities such as wine tastings, cooking classes, cocktail receptions, shipboard credits, monogrammed bathrobes and Pinnacle Grill dinners. In addition, travel sellers may use GAP points to alter a group's tour conductor ratio to increase profitability.
The 2010 Double GAP Points is in addition to current Vacation Stimulus Plan promotions for sailings departing next year.
GAP points are based on a per-person value and vary by the cruise region and length. Double GAP Points applies to 2010 sailings beginning with December 2009 holiday cruises. Grand voyages and select cruises are excluded. GAP selections must be chosen 90 days prior to the cruise departure.
HOLLAND AMERICA

Guests who book MSC Yacht Club accommodations on a 2009 summer Mediterranean sailing with MSC Cruises by Aug. 31, 2009 will receive a shipboard credit of $400 per stateroom.
Guests receive the $400 shipboard credit when they book MSC Yacht Club accommodations on select MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida 7-night Mediterranean sailings scheduled now through Sept. 6.

Princess Cruises

Holland America Line has added savings and incentives to its Vacation Stimulus Plan. Guests can now take advantage of free or reduced cruise fares for a third or fourth person in a stateroom, plus 25 percent discounts on most pre- and post-cruise hotel packages.
In addition, travel sellers will continue to receive reduced tour conductor credits on select cruises. New program elements also include no deposits required on third and fourth guest bookings.
These new benefits are in addition to original elements of low fares, deposits reduced by 50 percent, a 25 percent savings on the standard Cancellation Protection Plan and suspended fuel supplements for cruises. All Vacation Stimulus Plan incentives are available on 2009 sailings departing after May 1 and on all 2010 cruises.
New benefits feature reduced third- and fourth-person cruise fares -- in some cases free or as low as $99 per person -- for select sailings and no deposits required for any third or fourth person booking. Alaska cruisetours are not eligible for this discount. Several sailings also offer tour conductor credits at one for 10 guests booked or one for 12 instead of the standard 1 for 15 policy.
Holland America Line

Peter Deilmann is offering guests who join one of their four South American departures a $99 business class air package that includes roundtrip air from a choice of 73 North American gateways and transfers to and from the vessel, or up to $2,500 off the per passenger price of the cruise.
Each of the four 13- to 20-night voyages, departing in January and February 2010 aboard the company's luxury flagship, MS Deutschland, offers guests something different - whether it is exploring exotic Ecuador, Peru and Chile on the west coast, journeying around Cape Horn, taking in Antarctica's wildlife, cruising the lush Amazon or visiting Rio at Carnival time. Cruise fares range from $5,205 to $23,760 per person, double.
Passengers must book H-category staterooms or above to qualify for business class or $2,500 off; those booking other categories receive economy class air or $1,500 off. H-category and above begin at $7,405. All guests receive a package of complimentary shore excursions valued at $700 per person.
Port charges are $125 per person on the 13-night voyage and $165 on the longer voyages. Crystal Cruises is expanded its "All Inclusive-As You Wish" onboard credit offer to include most of its cruises in 2009 and most of 2010. With the program, guests receive a shipboard credit of up to $2,000 per couple for most 12-day voyages and up to $1,000 per couple for most shorter cruises.

The cruise company AIDA Cruises is publishing its new yearly catalogue, AIDAtime, with cruises on offer from February 2010 to April 2011 on 29 April 2009 - once again considerably expanding its range of tours. AIDA ships will be calling at a total of 154 dream destinations on 75 routes. New items in the programme include voyages to the Amazonas and Brazil, as well as city tours in Northern Europe. All cruises on the seventh ship of the AIDA fleet - AIDAblu - can now also be booked for the first time.

Cunard is also pleased to offer guests the chance to enjoy the World Voyage experience using a combination of Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary 2. Embarking in New York, guests will be able to complete the first half of their World Voyage on Queen Elizabeth before transferring ships in Sydney and sailing back to New York on Queen Mary 2.
In addition to receiving a bonus 10% discount off Early Booking Fares (EBF), Full World Voyage and Liner Voyage guests will receive an onboard credit of up to $2,000 per stateroom when they book by February 28, 2010. In addition, Full World Voyage guests will receive complimentary Hotel and Dining Charges. New for 2011, guests in Inside and Outside category staterooms will receive an onboard credit of up to $1,000 per stateroom if they book by the same date. Cunard World Club members will receive an extra 5% savings off Bonus Early Booking Fares.
Additionally, all Full World Voyage Queens Grill and Princess Grill guests will be given a $400 shipboard credit per person to use towards shore excursions of their choice. All Liner Voyage Grill guests will be given a $200 shipboard credit to be applied the same.
Further, an invitation will be extended to all Full World Voyage guests to join Carol Marlow ashore at one of the ports of call during their time onboard for the traditional World Voyage Dinner, an evening of world-class dining and entertainment.
