Expanding on the popularity of its “AMP Up Commission Challenge” in September, Carnival Cruise Line is giving travel agencies a new opportunity to earn higher commission percentages in 2018 with its new “AMP Up Commission Program.”
The Program offers agencies the ability to increase their commission rate up to 15 percent based on active deposited bookings made from Jan. 1- March 31, 2018. Qualifying agents who reach booking goals during this window will earn increased commissions on new bookings made April 1-Dec. 31, 2018. Registration for the program is open beginning today through Nov. 12, 2017 on GoCCL.com.

SAVE $5,000 PER COUPLE ON EXPEDITIONS TO ‘THE TOP OF THE WORLD’.
Expedition Cruise Specialists is offering savings of up to USD $5,000 per couple on expeditions to the ‘Top of the World’ aboard the world’s most powerful nuclear ice-breaker 50 Years of Victory.
Departing from Murmansk in Russia, this once-in-a-lifetime 13 day expedition includes a full day at the North Pole, with the opportunity to set foot on the ice. There’s also an exploration of the rarely-visited Franz Josef Land, and wildlife encounters with walrus and polar bears.
Named as the World’s Best Expedition Cruise (2017) in Expedition Cruise Specialists’ annual rankings, General Manager Andrew Castles said there’s only limited cabins remaining on the three 2018 sailings, so travelers will need to be quick to secure one of the final berths.
2018 expeditions to the North Pole depart Murmansk on July 8, 19 & 30. Prices start at USD $28,695 per person for a standard twin cabin. Discounted suites start at USD $30,295 per person for a Mini Suite, through to USD $42,595 per person for the top-of-the-range Arktika Suite.

Princess Cruises announced the worldwide itinerary of the 12th annual Australia-based World Cruise, roundtrip from Sydney, Brisbane or Auckland. Departing on May 10, 2019, the 106-day World Cruise aboard Sea Princess will sail more than 34,000 nautical miles through the Indian Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Baltic Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Panama Canal and Pacific Ocean.
The voyage is also available in four World Cruise segments starting in Sydney, Dubai, London (Dover) and New York, which can be combined into 46- to 60-day liners embarking or disembarking in London or New York.
Rates for the 106-day World Cruise start at $22,999 per person. All guests booking the World Cruise before April 30, 2018 will receive numerous benefits, including:
- Onboard Credit - $1,000 per person for 106-day voyage; $400 per person for voyage segments of 45-70 days and $100 per person for 12-38-day cruises
- Complimentary mini-bar set up for suite guests
- Complimentary gratuities
- A 10% reduced deposit
Combined with the above savings, Captain’s Circle launch savings also include the following for those loyalty-member guests booking before April 30, 2018:
- Onboard Credit - $1,000 per person for 106-day voyage; $500 per person for 45-70-day segments; $200 per person for 34-38 days and $100 per person for 12-22-day cruises

Poseidon Expeditions is picking up 70 percent of the costs of roundtrip air from Iceland’s Reykjavik to the port of embarkation in Greenland for its May 30-June 6, 2018, eight-day West Greenland & Disko Bay expedition voyage of the far north.
The value of the roundtrip air is $1,410 per person. Guests booking cabins on Poseidon Expeditions’ polar cruising star, the all-suite, 114-passenger Sea Spirit pay only $499 per person. The roundtrip flight is from Reykjavik to Greenland’s Kangehussuaq where guests are transported to Nuuk, the port of embarkation.
This arrangement saves North American clients time and money. Heretofore they flew via Copenhagen, Denmark to access the ship in West Greenland. Limited air seats are available at this $499 price.
The value of the one-way air is $617 for guests booking cabins on this voyage along Greenland’s west coast from Cape Farewell, at the southern tip of the country, to Disko Bay, deep inside the Arctic Circle. The regular per person double rate is $7,995, but Poseidon is now offering 10 percent savings from these rates.

Noteworthy itineraries for the 2019 season include Northern Europe, with the cruise line's return to Greenland on Pacific Princess, new departures out of Dublin on the popular British Isles itineraries aboard Crown Princess and the opportunity to search for the Northern Lights in Norway on Sapphire Princess, sailing the longest season ever out of London (Southampton), England.
All cruises also include the cruise line's exclusive and award-winning Local Connections program, bringing storytellers aboard to share their personal insights about upcoming ports, offering guests an insider's guide to their next destination.
The 2019 season features five ships sailing to 130 destinations from the corners of the Mediterranean to the northernmost tip of Europe. Guests can choose from 85 unique itineraries on 211 cruise departures, visiting 37 countries, featuring 30 ports with longer time ashore, including five ports with overnight stays.

Princess Cruises announced its fourth Royal-class ship will be named Sky Princess. Sister ship to Royal Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess, Sky Princess is scheduled to debut in October 2019 on a series of Mediterranean voyages.
The inaugural Mediterranean deployment of Sky Princess features 10 cruise departures on eight unique itineraries. First up, is a seven-day Mediterranean & Adriatic cruise from Athens (Piraeus) to Barcelona departing on October 20, 2019. This voyage is combinable with a seven-day Mediterranean Barcelona to Rome (Civitavecchia) voyage for a 14-day Inaugural Western Mediterranean & Adriatic Medley from Athens to Rome.
In addition, Sky Princess will sail on a new seven-day Mediterranean roundtrip Rome voyage, combinable with a seven-day Mediterranean Barcelona to Rome for a 14-day Western Mediterranean Medley voyage calling in some of the most iconic ports in the Mediterranean Sea.
The culmination of Sky Princess’ inaugural Mediterranean season will be a 14-day Spanish Passage from Barcelona to Ft. Lauderdale, combinable with the seven-day Mediterranean and/or the seven-day Mediterranean roundtrip Rome voyages for an epic 21-day or 28-day Grand Adventure across the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.

Poseidon Expeditions just improved upon the already exceptional. Aboard its all-suite, 114-passenger M/v Sea Spirit, guests on the 20-day voyage Oct. 20-Nov. 8, 2018, will now visit three destinations heralding the Southern Ocean spring.
The enhanced cruise itinerary which now includes the South Shetland Islands and an early season exploration of the waters of Antarctic Peninsula (Antarctic Awakening - Falklands, South Georgia & Antarctic Islands, is from $11,966 per person double, with even lower per person rates for triple share accommodations -- $8,996. The cruise begins in Argentina’s Puerto Madryn on the Tierra del Fuego archipelago and concludes in Ushuaia, Argentina.
A descriptive 80-page catalog detailing the company’s ships and activities is also available and can be requested online or through any of the Poseidon Expeditions offices. Poseidon also has recently announced it 2019 Arctic and 2019-20 Antarctic seasons, with 10%-15% early booking discounts available on reservations made before November 1, 2018.
